this is my 1st post. I hope I am able to do a good job.
To start off on a lighter note, moral victory for india.. Finally we did it. Its a big achievement to take the match into the 5th day.
But on a serious note , another poor performance by the famed indian batting line up.
Must say sachin has completely lost it. He made nathan lyon look like a lion. Poor tactics and as usual he went into his shell.
Time for the selectors to take some bold decisions. Its time for the likes of rohit sharma, ajinkya rahane, manoj tiwari, abhinav mukund, cheteshwar pujara to name a few to taste international cricket on a regular basis.
Its important to persist with these young players even if they fail. More exposure at the international level will make them better players..
Hope to see some changes in the next test series. Indians dont play test cricket for the coming few months. Time for selectors to sit and think.
India plays its next series at home. It would be the best time to give young players a chance. Playing in familiar conditions at international level wil help build up confidence and then they wil be mentally prepared to go on tours.
For now, all eyes on the odi series. We can hope for a better performance as we wil field a relatively young line up.
Hope the players are able to bring smile on the indian fans across the globe.
